President Shimon Peres warned Hamas Sunday that Israel's patience was wearing thin. Commenting on the attacks by Gaza Arab terrorists against southern Israel in the past week, Peres said that he had a message for Hamas. “They must understand that when they attack Israel, they are attacking residents of Gaza. Every missile that hits Israel will hurt you more than anyone.”

Peres, speaking at a meeting of the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem, added that “do you in Hamas believe we will sit quietly while you continue to fire missiles? Our patience will not last much longer.”
