Egypt is expected to announce the winner of its presidential race on Sunday afternoon. The central elections committee in the country will make its final announcement, after full counting of votes was completed several days ago.
Police and military forces have raised their level of security and deployment, in preparation for possible riots. Forces are being beefed up in Cairo, and sources in Egypt said that additional forces were being sent to Sinai as well, to prevent further rocket attacks against Israel.
