Zaka Launches Underwater Search Aid

The ZAKA emergency service held a ceremony, Thursday, at its Sapir diving and sailing vessel headquarters, to launch its newly-acquired "Scooter" unit for use in deep water searches.

Diving-unit commander Chaim Otmagzin told Arutz Sheva that the Scooter can help a diver stay under water for 90 minutes, as opposed to 40 minutes without the Scooter. He added that the device can carry three divers at once and work at depths of as much as 60 meters.
