Binyamin Rabbis Condemn Violence on Zambish's Car

The Rabbinical Council of the Binyamin region issued a statement, Thursday evening, condemning damage caused recently by activists in Beit El to the car of Ze'ev Hever, also known as "Zambish", who heads the Amana organization for construction in Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria (Shomron). The vandalism occured at the height of tensions related to the uprooting of 33 families living in the Binyamin Jewish community's Ulpana Neighborhood.

The rabbis said the Torah does not permit damaging someone's property as a protest in general, defending Zambish in particular for his efforts on behalf of the Jewish presence in the region.
