Rabbi Shalom Dov Wolpe, chairman of the Eretz Yisrael Shelanu (Our Land of Israel/The Land of Israel is Ours) movement, was summoned for questioning, Thursday afternoon by Samaria (Shomron) police. It is believed that the summons is related to a gathering, last year, in the Samarian Jewish community of Nofim, where the establishment of a Jewish Authority in Judea and Samaria was declared.
The movement reacted by calling the investigation "Bolshevik", with the aim of threatening and scaring people from expressing an opinion against the government and the left. On Wednesday, Rabbi Wolpe told Arutz Sheva he regretted that the Ulpana situation was settled peacefully without confilict because more uprooting would follow.
