Security forces in Toulouse, France have sealed off a bank where a man claiming to be affiliated with Al-Qaeda is holding several people hostage. The man has fired one shot.
The hostage-taker reportedly asked to speak to the police unit which spoke to Mohammed Merah, a terrorist who murdered seven people in Toulouse three months ago. Merah, who claimed to have Al-Qaeda training, was killed after a lengthy standoff with police.
