Brooklyn-born Wesam El-Hanafi admitted in a Manhattan federal court, Monday, that he helped the Al-Qaeda international terror network. El-Hanafi was arrested two years ago after he bought watches, which he intended to send to Al-Qaeda for use in detonating explosives.

The confession was part of a plea bargain. Prosecutors are demanding a 20-year sentence.
