The Defense Ministry resumed work, Tuesday morning, on the barrier designed to prevent infiltrations via Israel's border with Egypt. The work was suspended on Monday, following the terror attack that took the life of ministry contractor Said Fashfasha.

The decision to proceed followed a security assessment. Brigadier GeneralEranOfir, who is in charge of the project, reported to ministry leaders thatcontractors and workers, incuding heavy equipmentoperatorswere briefed andworkingin hundreds ofsites wherethe barrier is being built.
