Report: State to Seek Delay in Ulpana Uprooting

The state will ask the Supreme Court, in the next few days, for a three month delay in the uprooting of five buildings in the Ulpana neighborhood in the Binyamin-region Jewish community of Beit El, according to a senior government official, cited Tuesday by Israel Defense Forces Radio. The official said the delay is intended to allow the carrying out of Prime Minister Binyamin's program to relocate the buildings. The source added that the request will only be submitted if an agreement for voluntary removal is reached with the residents of the buildings.
