South Mt Hevron resident Asaf Fried told INN that on his last ascent to the Temple Mount he noticed construction involving heavy beams supporting an awning hundreds of yards long near the location of the ancient altar. “None of the police know what the construction is for. It might be permanent, and it might just be preparations for the mass Ramadan fast pilgrimage. No one attempts to stop the Arabs, so they won’t riot.”
