A forest fire broke out, Monday afternoon, in a large natural grove next to the Jerusalem-area community of Beit Nekufa. Seven firefighting companies were sent to battle the blaze, which threatened homes in the community.

Another fire broke out in the yard of a factory in the western Galilee city of Carmiel. Six firefighting companies were sent to the scene of that fire.
