A man around 73 years of age was gored by a deer, Monday morning, in the community of Srigim, near Beit Shemesh, west of Jerusalem.

The victim is believed to have suffered a chest wound and had difficulty breathing. The Magen David Adom (Red Star of David) emergency service evacuated him to the trauma unit at Hadassah Ein-Kerem Hospital.
