The Consumer Price Index for May remained unchanged from the previous month, the Central Bureau of Statistics announced Friday.

According to the report, significant rises were recorded in the prices of fruits and vegetables at a rate of nearly 4 percent. The price of tomatoes increased sharply by 28 percent. Increases were also recorded in the prices of clothing and footwear.
