Shekel, Euro Up, Dollars Mixed, Pound Down

The official value of the shekel rose an average of .096 percent, Friday, in mixed trading against the other currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.867, down .361 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro rose .115 percent to 4.8819 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.9901, down .515 percent, while 100 Japanese yen slipped .037 percent to 4.8942 shekels. The Australian dollar rose .466 percent to NIS 3.8785, while its Canadian counterpart slipped .098 percent to 3.7785 shekels.
