Dozens of activists, organized by Women in Green for Israel's Tomorrow, went to the Judean community of Netzer, Friday morning, stocked with hundreds of bottles of water - including recycled water and recycled containers - to irrigate hundreds of trees they had helped to plant, after Arabs damaged irrigation pipes. It was feared that the trees would dry out due to higher-than-average temperatures.
Women in Green leader Nadia Matar reported that the activity was accompanied by army and police forces for fear that the Arabs might sabotage the manual irrigation efforts.
