Israel and Russia are holding talks on a joint military enterprise, according to a Friday morning report by Kol Yisrael government radio. DeputyPrime Minister Dmitry Rogozin ofRussiatold alocaltelevisionchannelon Thursday thatthe Moscowgovernment is tryingto persuade Israel todevelopa pilotless aircraft to beused by thetwo countriesandsoldto other countries.

Russia has bought Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the past. While Rogozin said Russia is aimed at technology with local production in mind, his country is considering purchasing more Israeli UAVs and ground control systems.
