Egyptian Court Dissolves Lower House of Parliament

The Constitutional Court of Egypt ruled, Thursday, that a third of the members of the country's lower house of parliament were not elected in a legal way and the assembly had to disperse. Following the court decision, former presidential candidate Abdel Mon'em Abu Al-Fotoh said that the dissolving of the lower house and the decision to allow former Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq to stay in the race for the presidency, were "total revolution." He wrote a message on his Facebook page, that anyone who thinks the masses will allow this coup to succeed, "is deluded."
