“The comptroller cannot interfere with State policy. The comptroller cannot scrutinize a state declaration of war, or a peace agreement, and this is a similar issue. The government must only answer to the Knesset and the people on such issues. A comptroller report on such a specific episode is a politicization of the State control.”
