Environment Minister Calls for Healthier Army Bases

Environment Minister Gilad Erdan called for healthier army bases. He stated that sewage infrastructure in some bases needed to be standardized, as stipulated in a previous government decision. Minister Erdan specifically noted that eleven bases located in Judea and Samaria needed to be brought up to environmental standards. He called upon Defense Minister Ehud Barak to expedite the issue stating that pollution would affect the whole area.
