Libyan Jihadist Group Claims Attack on U.S. Consulate

A Libyan jihadist group has claimed responsibility for last week's bombing of the U.S. consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi, the SITE monitoring service, which monitors jihadi websites, said Monday.

According to the report, the “Brigades of the Imprisoned Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman” claimed responsibility for the attack and said it was to avenge the death of Al-Qaeda number two, Abu Yahya al-Libi, in a drone strike in Pakistan.
