The Knesset Labor, Welfare and Health Committee approved, Monday, an easing of eligibility requirements for services from the Bituach Le'umi National Insurance Institute for disabled people who need a lot of assistance or close supervision. The panel determined that a disabled person will be eligible from the 31st day of disability instead of the current 91st day.

The impact of the change is about 15 million shekels a year.
