The Environmental Protection Ministry announced, Sunday, that vehicle testing for the annual registration will get tougher in September as part of Israel's adoption of European air-pollution standards.

While all testing will be tougher, particular attention will be paid to cars running on diesel fuel and those manufactured before 1995, which have not been judged as strictly as other vehicles.
