Amnesty: UN Must Take Care of Refugees in Sudan

A new report by Amnesty International calls on the United Nations to take immediate steps to stop indiscriminate air strikes in the war between Sudan and South Sudan. The report stresses the need to grant aid organizations immediate access to areas affected by the conflict.

Amnesty also called on the U.N. to accelerate efforts for advanced provision of humanitarian equipment for the rainy season, to strengthen education programs and to ensure means of protection for women and girls in the refugee camps.
