Shekel, Euro Up, Dollars Mixed, Yen Down

The official value of the shekel rose an average of .075 percent, Thursday, in mixed trading against the other currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.871, down .412 percent, while the Euro rose .121 percent to 4.8689 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 6.0215, down .086 percent, and 100 Japanese yen declined .559 percent to 4.8774 shekels. The Australian dollar rose .594 percent to NIS 3.862 and the South African rand was fixed at .4687 shekels, up 1.253 percent.
