The Likud Shely organization (also known in English as My Likud) has issued a statement regarding Wednesday vote against to Regulations Law. "We support without reservation any of the Likud legislators who are loyal to their people and country. We pledge to remember well those who resisted and those who fled. Together we will continue building the strength of Israel within the Likud." The organization is made up of approximately 6,000 registered Likud Party voters. The Regulations Law would have prevented communities such as the Ulpana neighborhood of Beit El from being demolished. Likud Shely was in favor of the law. Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu is the head of the Likud Party and was against the law.
