Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu will give a special statement regarding the Ulpana neighborhood of Beit El. The statement will be released at 5:00 PM Israel time on Wednesday, according to the Prime Minister's Office. Five apartment complexes in the Ulpana neighborhood were ordered bulldozed and the residents evicted by the Supreme Court. The judges ruled that until the proper owner of the land can be determined, the homes must be removed. An Arab Jordanian man who is currently a resident of the Palestinian Authority is claiming that he is the legal owner of the property. The man says that the current residents purchased the property from his cousin by mistake while he is the actual legal heir. The residents say the two cousins are lying to cover up the real estate transaction because selling land of a Jew is a crime punishable by death in the Palestinian Authority.
