Deputy Minister Ayoub Kara explained Wednesday why he was absent from voting on the Regulation Bill after saying the night before that he would vote for the bill even if it meant leaving the government.

Kara said his decision came “after I was given a promise regarding the establishment of a ministerial committee for settlement…. And a promise to legislate a ‘regulation law’ that will sort out any settlement problems of a similar type in the future.”
