IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz spent the day briefing the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Tuesday. "The likelihood of war initiated by our enemies is low," he stated, but he said the situation could have the potential to become explosive. He said the IDF was ready on all front as a result of "the regional turmoil taking place in Middle Eastern countries."
Lt. Gen. Gantz also briefed the Knesset committee on the situation in the Golan Heights. The northern region borders with Syria where deadly riots have taken place.
