New Discount Cell Provider Claims 50,000 New Customers

Golan Telecom announced that over 50,000 customers have switched over to its cell phone services in the past 3 weeks. Answering its critics, Golan said they will make up for any problems in connecting customers to cell phone service by crediting a customer's bill for the following month.

Golan was founded by French immigrant Michael Golan. It is one of the new discount cell phone providers along with Rami Levy and HOT Mobile who are charging a fraction of the cost of the big three cell phone providers, Orange, Cellcom and Pelephone.  In response, the big three have lowered their prices as well.
