Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin told the Knesset presidium on Monday that the bill by Member of Knesset Zevulun Orlev to authorize Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria, threatened with uprooting under Supreme Court orders. He continued, "A stormy and difficult discussion is expected, but we'll be sure to conduct meticulous arrangements, and will not allow emotions to control it. This is an issue of conscience of the first order, and any decision that is made will be binding on all."
Rivlin announced he would support the authorization of the Ulpana neighborhood in Beit El by legislation if there is no other solution, and added, "The law must be adjusted for justice. You don't resolve an injustice by committing another injustice."
