Strike at Hadera Paper

About 500 employees of Hadera paper closed the factory's gates and went on strike, Monday morning, after government-mediated negotiations broke down.

The workers claim that management is not upholding parts of the collective bargaining agreement. They add that a 2.5 percent salary increase that was supposed to take effect in April has not been paid. The Histadrut Labor Federation declared a labor dispute at the company in May.
