Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said, Sunday evening, that he supports legislation to authorize as-yet unauthorized Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria (Shomron). He said such legislation is needed to keep threats to individual communities - such as the Ulpana Neighborhood in the Binyamin-region community of Beit El - from continually popping up.

Dr. Steinitz told reporters he would vote the way the coalition votes, explaining that he has done so consistently.
