Islamic Jihad Threatens Yesha over Hunger Strikers

Khaled Al-Batash, one of the leaders of Islamic Jihad, said, Sunday, that if Israel causes harm to security prisoners, the reaction of his terror group will be painful and Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) will be in danger.

Al-Batash was speaking at a solidarity rally for prisoners Mahmoud Al-Sarasek and Akram Al-Richawi, whose health has deteriorated recently, according to Arab sources, especially Al-Sarasek, who has been on a hunger strike for 81 days. Al-Sarasek started his hunger strike in protest over not being brought to trial after three years in custody, continuing after the hunger strike of about 1,600 other prisoners ended.
