The Israel Defense Forces announced, Friday afternoon, that the soldier killed during the predawn gunfight near the Kissufim Crossing from Gaza to the rest of Israel was 21-year-old Sergeant Netanel Moshiashvili of Ashkelon. He was posthumously promoted to First Sergeant. Moshiashvili will be laid to rest, Friday afternoon, in the Ashkelon military cemetery.
