Bill Clinton Compares Syria to Bosnia in the '90s

Former president Bill Clinton of the United States said, Thursday evening, that the worsening situation in Syria is similar, in some respects, to the crisis in Bosnia that he had to deal with as president in the '90s.

Interviewed by the Cable News Network, Clinton said that he identifies with President Barack Obama in that his administration has, so far, opposed military intervention in Syria. He added that he believes the world will rush to help Syria if President Bashar Al-Assad falls, but added that it would be very hard for the U.S. to act alone.
