Two Americans who were abducted, Wednesday, in the Sinai Peninsula, were released Thursday afternoon and turned over to Egyptian security forces.

The tourists were abducted by armed Bedouin - apparently drug dealers - who unsuccessfully tried to use the captives to gain the freedom of jailed mates from prison.
