Supreme Court Rejects David Appel Appeal

The Supreme court rejected, Thursday, the appeal of contractor and Likud activist David Appel against his 2010 conviction and 42-month sentence on three bribery charges. Appel is scheduled to start serving the sentence on July 1st.

Appel was convicted of bribing former mayor Benny Regev of Lod, former chairman Zamir Ben Ari of the Giv'at Shmuel local council and and former deputy district manager Oded Tal of the Israel Lands Administration's Central District.
