The UN Security Council on Wednesday failed to come to a conclusion on a reaction to the latest violence in Syria. Talks will continue within the next two days. U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice said that the body had come to a “turning point” and that the best thing Syria could do now was to adopt a plan to stem violence by former UN ambassador Koffee Anan, but that she did not expect them to do so.
Meanwhile, a report Wednesday said that the Syria army had once again begun bombing the city of Huleh, where 108 people were massacred.
