Haaretz journalist Uri Blau will face charges in the Anat Kam affair, state attorneys said Wednesday. Prosecutors informed Blau’s attorneys that their arguments in a hearing before Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein had been rejected.
Blau will be indicted for unauthorized possession of secret documents without intention to harm state security.
He took thousands of secret documents stolen by then-soldier Anat Kam and used them to write an article accusing the IDF of killing terrorists without trial at times when it would have been possible to capture them alive.
