The IDF held a family day for soldiers in the hareidi-religious Shachar Kachol (Blue Dawn) unit. Many of the soldiers are married with children. The event was created to show appreciation for the sacrifices the soldiers’ families have made, said organizers, explaining, “The families are an inseparable part of their service in the IDF.”
The event included many activities for children, including activity corners and a magic show with a hareidi performer.
