Residents of two small towns in northern Israel reported possible cases of rabies over the past several days. In Kfar Sald in the northern Galilee a large, mixed-breed dog, beige-black in color, was spotted acting strangely on Sunday night.
In Eliad in the Ramat Hagolan region a medium-sized white and brown dog was spotted acting strangely last Thursday.
The Health Ministry has asked anyone who came in contact with either of the dogs described from May 12 to May 27, or who owns an animal that came into contact with a wandering or injured animal in the region during the same period of time, to report to their local Health Ministry branch.
