Britain, Germany Expel Syrian Ambassadors

Both Britain and Germany are planning to expel the Syrian diplomats in their countries over rebel reports that Syrian President Bashar Assad’s troops are massacring civilians. Earlier in the day France and Australia announced that they would expel Syrian diplomats.

Rebels say that Syrian troops shelled a civilian neighborhood in the village of Houla, and in addition, shot dozens of civilians at close range. More than 100 people were said to have been killed in the attack, 34 of them children.
