On Wednesday, May 31st, the Agnon House in Jerusalem will mark the 100th anniversary of the publication of S. Y. Agnon’s first book. Agnon House calls the publication a "landmark in the development of Modern Hebrew literature." Academic lectures, interactive study sessions, and programs for students will take place at the house which served as Agnon's home in the Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem. Agnon won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1966 for his Hebrew works.
