Middle-school student Netanel Lewis of Rishon Letzion is the only Israeli to make it to the semifinals of "Google's Online Science Fair" international competition, according to a Tuesday report in the Yisrael Hayom daily. He will compete against 89 others for a spot in the top 15 who will compete in the finals in the United States.
The thousands of contestants were asked to create a research question and demonstrate an experiment to examine it. In Lewis's experiment, he found that when air pollution increases, cognitive and motor abilities decrease respectively.
