The funeral for Dr.EitanGross, Director of the pediatric oncologysurgery unitatHadassah Ein KeremHospital, took place Friday morning at the Har Hamenuchot cemetery in the Giv'at Shaul section of Jerusalem. Hospital staff called him "arare combinationofan excellent surgeonand doctor, andabove alla human being." Dr. Gross is survived by a wife and three children.
Dr.DanArbel, a colleague in the department, found himdeadin his room on Thursday.Hadassah Hospitaldirector Yuval Weiss told the Yisrael Hayom daily, "During the workdayDr.Grossfeltbadandwent to restin his room, which reallyis not commonwith him."Dr. Weiss continued, "The best doctorsperformedaprolongedresuscitation,but unfortunately itwas too late."
