Authorities closed the Mediterranean Coast Highway (Route 2) at the Zichron Ya'akov interchange, Thursday afternoon, after a brush fire in the area resulted in poor visibility.

Police directed traffic to the old Tel Aviv-Haifa Road (Route 4).
