A senior IDF official has announced that there have been 20 abduction attempts made against soldiers across Israel in 2012.
According to the source, since the Shalit deal, terrorist motivation to abduct soldiers has greatly increased, with the intent to release the 8,000 PA terrorists still held in Israel.
