MK Yaakov “Ketzaleh” Katz agreed Wednesday to postpone a vote on the future of Israeli homes built on disputed land. He pushed off the vote after he was promised that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will not object to the bill being brought before Knesset in two weeks if no solution has been found in that time.
The bill was not expected to pass if raised Wednesday, due to Netanyahu’s having ordered the coalition to vote against it.
While Katz agreed to the postponement he expressed frustration, saying, “Netanyahu has caved to Barak regarding home in Judea and Samaria… A Jew who doesn’t care about his brothers has a heart of stone.”
