More than 200 people held a protest Tuesday night with MK Michael Ben-Ari to call on the state to expel foreigners who entered Israel illegally. “Sudanese to Sudan,” protesters said. Many spoke at the rally and described the fear they experience on a daily basis.
“Go through the area around my house in the evening and you’ll understand what it’s like to live with illegal entrants who steal purses, beat people, defecate in public areas, and there are no police and there is no authority,” one woman said.
Another said the illegal entrants “rape young girls and elderly women,” adding, “Once I was supported them, I helped them, I donated to them, but today I’m afraid to leave my house. We shouldn’t have to suffer.”
