Israel failed to qualify for the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest, after the group Izabo which performed the song “Time” was ejected from the semifinals in Baku, Azerbaijan. This is the second consecutive year in which Israel has failed to qualify for the finals.

Tuesday’s semifinal stage included 18 countries, of which ten made it to the finals. The second semifinal will be held on Thursday.
